Rogers hosts grand opening for new San Francisco East Bay location
06/20/18 03:13:pmOpening in late March, Rogers–San Francisco East Bay has now treated 40 patients total to date with 21 patients currently enrolled.
Rogers’ newest clinic hosted a grand opening event on May 23 attended by more than 150 guests.
The event was a chance to introduce the services and programs we offer to referring providers in the Bay Area and local civic officials. Tours of the clinical space and demonstrations of transcranial magnetic stimulation tech were offered. Attendees also enjoyed a ribbon cutting ceremony, music, food, and good company.
Check out what Rogers clinicians, referring providers, and others have to say:
Sunshine Little, LMFT
“It’s absolutely amazing to be doing this work- we have families coming from all over the Bay Area and even Alaska and Oregon. What I love is seeing people do rather than just talk. The activation really works.
I had a client not able to get out of bed and now she’s going on a college tour. It’s so amazing to see her achieving the goals she set for herself.”
Yvonne Rios, LMFT, potential referring provider
“What interests me is the amazing work in exposure therapy and use of DBT in a structured venue in this manner. It’s very unique to be so specialized.”
Rajan Gosain, MD
“I keep being pleasantly surprised by the dedication to patient care, the resources we’re able to provide in this community, and the heart that our leadership has. I’m seeing patients finally getting the treatment they’ve been needing for a long time.”
Gretchen Placzek, LCSW, referring provider
“I am so impressed by the way you admit and your services and structure. Rogers has such a solid reputation for clinical care and these services are greatly needed. There are so many silos in behavioral healthcare; there’s such a huge need for comprehensive services.”
Steven Gigliotti, behavioral specialist
“I love that the program is so individual-based. We work with each person to do what’s best for the patient.
Stephanie Glover, behavioral specialist
“When I found out Rogers was opening here, I was thrilled. I’m glad we’re providing support for the community and filling the huge gap in OCD and exposure response and prevention (ERP) treatment.”
Michael Schwab, artist
Michael Schwab’s artwork is featured throughout the East Bay clinic. His work starts with drawings using pencil and paper and this is scanned, completed on computer with vibrant colors, and printed.
“I’ve tried to create healthy, heroic images and it was interesting to select appropriate pieces that work well in this space. Hopefully my artwork makes everyone comfortable and adds brightness to the patients’ day,” shares Schwab.
Rogers–San Francisco started accepting patients on March 19. Partial hospitalization programs are currently offered for anxiety and mood disorders for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, FOCUS adult mood disorders, FOCUS adolescent mood disorders, OCD and anxiety for adults, and OCD and anxiety for children and adolescents. TMS is also offered as an outpatient service.
