New Nurse/Physician Recruitment strategies implemented for Rogers

05/14/18 06:30:pm

The time it takes to fill an open nursing position is a nation-wide problem, with the average sitting around 45 days. Rogers’ time to fill for a nurse position dropped to just 36 days, as of February, thanks to a Rogers Improvement System. New efforts like the nurse recruitment site are looking to drop this number even more, ensuring we can help more patients.

The new nursing careers site includes testimonials from several members of the Rogers nursing team as well as short video features that show candidates the importance of the work Rogers does and how compassion is helping to transform lives. There is also a section dedicated to nursing news, details of the orientation process, and additional information that’s useful for nurses considering submitting an application.

Physician Recruitment

With additional Rogers locations in the works, it’s even more important to quickly hire passionate and qualified medical staff. To accomplish this goal, specialized recruitment folders, based on different Rogers locations, have been created.

Each folder contains information on Rogers’ history, benefits, testimonials from local medical leadership, a profile of the community, description of the specific site, and other info to aid those who are making the decision to join the Rogers team.

Folders for Oconomowoc, West Allis, Brown Deer, and Miami have been completed so far, with more to follow.
