Former patient becomes advocate for bipolar disorder

11/21/19 10:10:am

We’re always overjoyed to see that someone has found long-term recovery following care at Rogers; however, it’s even more amazing to see that a former patient has also become a strong advocate for mental health.

Few go to the same lengths as Emily, though, who wears her diagnosis as a necklace and as a tattoo. Since receiving treatment at Rogers, she has become a strong advocate for bipolar disorder as well as other mental health disorders. She also has her own blog, which she calls “Bipolar Brought Balance.”

In the video above, hear from Emily and her family about what she was experiencing prior to coming to Rogers and how we were able to provide life-changing relief. You can also learn more in our recent blog post on Emily’s story.
