We need YOU…to be a Gala Hero

Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation’s annual Celebrate the Light Gala fundraising and awareness event is being held on November 10, 2017. Last year, the event raised more than $175,000 for Patient Care Grants, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU, our faithful Gala Hero!

Here are three ways you, as a part of your department, can demonstrate your support:

Auction Patron – make a monetary donation to the silent auction. These funds will be used to purchase a unique silent auction item that would not otherwise be donated. Your department name will be listed as the donor of the auction package.

Rogers Basket – donate an item for a specialty themed package (aka “basket”) for the silent auction. Only 20 departments will create a Rogers Basket. First come, first serve! Your department can choose among a list of themes provided by the Foundation.

Wine Pull – donate a bottle of wine (valued at $20 or more) or combine funds to purchase a more exclusive vintage to maximize proceeds at the event. All bottles in the Wine Pull are given a number. For $20, a guest at the Gala will randomly pick a number, and then they will take home whatever bottle matches that number. (Goal: 120 bottles of wine).

How can you help?

Email the name of the person(s) who will be your “Be a Gala Hero” coordinator no later than Friday, July 7. Each coordinator will organize your department’s contribution to the Gala. As a thank you, coordinators will be given a gift card as a token of our appreciation.
Email how your department would like to demonstrate their support: Auction Patron, Rogers Basket, or Wine Pull. For a Rogers Basket, the Foundation will provide a list of predetermined basket themes for the coordinator to select from. (Only 20 baskets will be used in the silent auction so the first 20 areas that identify they would like to coordinate a basket will be selected.)
