cohn_tn.jpgTerri Cohn, who was recently promoted to chief nursing officer, was named a Notable Hero in Health Care by BizTimes Media. She was featured in the December 13, 2021 issue of BizTimes Milwaukee, which celebrated 32 heroes from Southeast Wisconsin who were chosen for the second annual list.

Terri was selected in part because of her leadership style, her commitment to nurses and to those who are training to become one, and her recruitment efforts.

“Terri is very hands on,” said Brad Riemann, PhD, chief clinical officer/chief operating officer, in her nomination. “She frequently rounds in our programs to get a pulse for what’s going on and to address challenging situations with patients.”

Also in her nomination, Jerry Halverson, MD, chief medical officer, wrote: “Terri’s leadership, effort, and skill have been central to the success of our system’s COVID response and our ability to keep giving patients the care that they need in this pandemic.”

In response to receiving the Notable Hero in Health Care recognition, Terri says, “I feel really valued to have been nominated for such an incredible and prestigious award. The confidence that was expressed regarding my abilities is greatly appreciated. I am so thankful.”
