Supporting employees so you can support patients
02/13/17 06:15:amRogers is built on many great people. People with a heart for the mission to serve our patients and the communities they live in. Whether you are on the front line working directly with patients or supporting that care behind the scenes, you have an incredibly important and often challenging job. That’s just one reason we’re striving to make your day-to-day life a bit easier by providing you with a higher level of support when it comes to handling your HR needs, furthering your education, or caring for your family.
The first step in support is a newly created Human Resources Shared Service team lead by Kate Driessen, director, HR Shared Services. The team is designed to be a one stop shop for employee questions ranging from PTO availability, general benefits questions, change of address, or policy questions. The HR Service Center is accessible by email or phone at HRSupport@rogershospital.org or 262-646-1848.
Some of your questions could be about how to take advantage of the new policies. Whether it is tuition reimbursement, the nurse scholarship program, loan forgiveness, child care reimbursement, or the degree completion bonus, questions can be answered through your manager or the service center.
These improvements are based on feedback we heard from you during our Rogers employee focus groups and the recent employee survey. Those themes centered on supporting your education and career aspirations and family needs.
We are hearing positive feedback about the service center and new benefit offerings and will continue to review and expand as needed.
As another response to the employee feedback, we are developing career paths for our clinical and non-clinical positions with the intent of giving you opportunities to grow professionally and remain at Rogers. This will happen as part of a new initiative we are calling Rogers University, which serve as the umbrella for all training and education within our organization. In addition to identified career paths and through Rogers University, you will have access to a blend of online and in-person training offerings. You will be able to set goals and design a learning program that works for you.
We owe it to our patients to be as qualified and prepared as possible. And because you are the key to carrying out our mission, Rogers Behavioral Health is coming to investing in your professional and personal growth. Watch for more information over the coming months as Rogers University takes shape.
