Sue Dicks publishes chapter in book on teen mental health
08/25/20 08:51:amCongratulations to Sue McKenzie Dicks, vice president of Healthy Culture, for coauthoring a chapter in the second edition of Reaching Teens: Strength-Based, Trauma-Sensitive, Resilience-Building Communication Strategies Rooted in Positive Youth Development, edited by Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg. The chapter is co-written by Monica Caldwell from the Department of Public Instruction, and focuses on the work Sue does with compassion resilience—an especially important topic in the middle of a global pandemic.
"Ginsburg and the others who came together to create this book and amazing online resource bring expert knowledge on supporting youth development,” Sue says. “It is a real honor to be able to offer guidance on how to form healthy organizations and teams to support the well-being of the adults doing the work. Our efforts in Wisconsin with hundreds of youth serving organizations and schools have helped us to hone our content. The InHealth team and our partners are excited to expand our impact across the US and beyond.”
