To help make the environment more enjoyable for both patients and team members, Rogers Behavioral Health’s San Francisco East Bay clinic has been holding special Fun Fridays every other week.

Each Fun Friday carries a theme. So far, the clinic featured a crazy hair day and a Hawaiian themed day.

“The purpose is to end the week on a light note and have some fun, given the seriousness of the treatment that often goes on in the clinic on a daily basis,” says Kristine Bazalar, director of business development, Western Region.

The San Diego care team also had a bit of fun recently at their luau party, complete with tropical decorations and an inflatable parrot.

In addition to the party, the San Diego team volunteered at a homeless shelter, bringing pizza, cookies, and water to residents. Director of operations Tami Solheim says that they are “team building through monthly office events and through community service—it is important to us as a clinic to give back to the community.”
