Open enrollment begins November 1

Open enrollment runs from November 1 to 15, with several new opportunities for employees. Please see below for the updates and contact Sharon.Braun@rogersbh.org with any questions.

What’s changing?

New opportunity for part-time employees to participate in health plans

Medical, dental, and vision plans will now be available for part-time employees.

  • Employees working .5 to .749 will be able to enroll for coverage beginning January 1, 2022.

New benefit offerings:

New mental health and therapy platform to launch November 1, 2021.

  • Lyra Health will provide mental health coaching and therapy services.
  • All employees, spouses and domestic partners, and dependents (ages 2 to 26) have access to 12 coaching or therapy sessions, per person per year, at no cost to you.

 ​​​​​​​​​​New vision plus plan for employees interested in higher level of vision benefits.

  • You will have more money to spend on your frames or contacts with the plus plan.
  • Vision plus plan increases allowances for frames and contacts to $200 per product.

New dental plus plan for employees interested in higher level of dental benefits.

  • Increases annual maximum benefit to $2,000 per individual per year.
  • Increases orthodontia maximum benefit to $2,000 lifetime maximum.

Rate changes

  • Dental and vision plans will again have no increase in premium rates.
  • Medical plans will have an increase in premium rates this year. Increase amounts vary by plan choice.
  • Rates for single coverage will increase between $4.43 and $8.27 per pay period.
  • Single+1 rates will increase between $9.75 and $18.19 per pay period.
  • Family rates will increase between $14.18 and $26.45 per pay period.

What should you do next?

  • Watch for enrollment instructions via email and on Rogers Connect.
  • Talk to your spouse or partner about their insurance options and open enrollment dates.
  • Gather social security numbers and birthdates for dependents being added to your plans.
  • Check out the Employee Benefits pages on Rogers Connect to learn more about your plan options.

Reminder:

All employees who are eligible for benefits need to visit our online enrollment site on Rogers Connect after November 1 to enroll or waive benefits for 2022, even if you are not making any changes.

Rogers will be offering one-on-one meeting sessions via Sign up Genius starting November 1 to provide opportunity to discuss your questions or help with enrollment.
