One Community updates make it easier to track health
08/21/18 02:46:pmRogers team members now have an easier time of reaching their own health and wellness goals, thanks to recent updates to the One Community program.
Users of One Community can track and log information, such as fitness, nutrition, sleep, and other data. Recently, the service expanded its list of compatible devices, allowing more people the opportunity to sync information automatically. One Community works with many popular brands, such as Fitbit, Jawbone Up, Garmin Connect, MapMyRun/MapMyFitness, Microsoft Band, and several others.
Amanda Isaacson, employee health and wellness manager, says that One Community is a one-stop site that offers the ability to view personal health information from surveys and annual biometric screenings. It also provides access to a number of helpful tools, including health trackers, articles, fitness videos, a recipe database, and other resources that are meant to assist people who seek to achieve a healthy or healthier lifestyle.
For those who do participate, there’s an additional bonus along with the health incentives.
“One Community also provides the ability for employees to receive Thrive points within Daymaker for participating in challenges and tracking healthy behaviors,” Isaacson says.
Wellness Champions at Rogers will routinely pick new challenges for Rogers team members to take part in, including the 4 Week Challenge that is being offered through One Community now through September 2. This challenge is focused on financial well-being, specifically on debt management, with information provided by Pete the Planner—a comedian and financial expert. Each week of participation results in 10 Daymaker points.
