In celebration of Nurses Week, managers and leadership at Rogers commended their hard-working teams of nurses by sending in praise and fun photos.

All the compliments given to Rogers nurses were produced into a heart-shaped word cloud and a gallery of images was put up on Rogers Connect. We’ve also included a few statements from some of our team leaders below.

“There are many things I love about working with Sue, but the best thing is that she loves our patients. She is young at heart, and she cares about and understands adolescents. She is naturally empathic and kind-hearted. And she has a whip-smart sense of humor and a ready laugh! We get each other, and that makes it fun to come to work.” ~Peggy Scallon, MD, medical director, Focus Depression Recovery Adolescent Residential Care

“Silver Lake is so grateful to the amazing team of nurses that we have. They are always supporting one another and our teams of clinicians.” ~Kristin Wendlandt, manager, operations, Silver Lake

“Katherine and Fawn are a great duo. They have excellent communication skills, an extreme ability to comfort families, they stay calm and think quickly in challenging circumstances, they have emotional resilience and a non-judgmental approach. Nashville is LUCKY to have them, and I am even LUCKIER to have such amazing fellow nurses by my side day in and day out.” ~Monica Robertson, RN, director of operations, Nashville

“Jessica DiGregorio and Sarah Benedetto have been critical to the opening success of the Hinsdale location. They work seamlessly together as a team, creating a safe therapeutic environment for our patients. Both Sarah and Jessica easily develop rapport with patients and their families and regularly help with exposures and other treatment interventions. Our nurses go above and beyond by making suggestions for improvement in the department, being an active part of the clinical team and maintaining a positive, happy work environment. We are so appreciative of our dynamic duo!” ~Cindy Cole, director of operations, Hinsdale
