Lyra provides free mental health services for employees, families

01/18/22 03:40:pm

With the U.S. Surgeon General’s recent advisory on the youth mental health crisis, Rogers wants to remind employees of the free services offered through Lyra Health.

Through this new mental health and therapy platform, employees, their spouses and domestic partners, and dependents ages 2 to 26 can receive 12 free coaching or therapy sessions, per person per year.

Providers are available via live video, live messaging, or in person. Lyra (“Leer-ah”) can help with:

  • Parent and caregiver stress
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Work stress and burnout
  • Relationship challenges
  • Alcohol use

lyra_tn.jpgLyra Coach is available for moderate care, while Lyra Therapy helps with more complex challenges.

Additionally, the platform launched Lyra Essentials earlier this month. The resource offers self-care modules featuring a variety of self-guided tools, including meditations, mindfulness, and skill-building videos, which can help with ongoing wellness and preventative care. Visit Rogersbh.lyrahealth.com to access Lyra Essentials.

“Rogers prioritizes the health and well-being of not only our patients but our employees,” says Sue McKenzie Dicks, vice president, healthy culture. “We hope that employees will seek Lyra’s mental health services if and when they need help. We encourage family members to benefit from Lyra as well, particularly children who may be struggling during these challenging times.”

Some warning symptoms to watch for in youth include persistent sadness, withdrawing from or avoiding social interactions, and changes in academic performance.

Get started by calling 877-234-6505, emailing care@lyrahealth.com, or visiting Rogersbh.lyrahealth.com.

Lyra is a confidential service. Rogers only receives information on the number of employees/dependents who utilize the services. Lyra will not disclose data that would allow Rogers staff to identify individual names or other specific information about participants.
