Ladish Co. Foundation Center hosts first open house, wins Real Estate Award
06/16/22 03:54:pmRogers employees who work in the Ladish Co. Foundation Center recently hosted their first open house event since the building’s grand opening in August of 2021.
More than 40 staff members from a myriad of departments attended the event, which featured a scavenger hunt designed to be a self-guided tour of the facility. By answering a series of questions, staff learned “s’more” about the Ladish Center, its intended purpose, and the departments housed within the building.
The event started in the lobby and ended on the back patio where staff were invited to roast a s’more around the campfire. Everyone who successfully completed the scavenger hunt was eligible to win 500 Daymaker points. Congratulations to Megan Kelley, care transition specialist!
Read what some attendees said about the event:
“We have been recommending the Ronald McDonald Family Room® to many of our patients and families for off-grounds passes, and we have received many compliments on the Ladish Center. It was nice to see what we are recommending to families, and the event will help me describe the activities families can engage in when they are on pass. Thank you for providing this opportunity!”
~Megan Oleniczak, behavioral specialist, Eating Disorder Recovery Adolescent Residential Care
“The Ladish Center is a lovely space for families and staff alike. It offers a safe and comfortable space for families to stay while care is occurring or meeting in a friendly environment. The welcome event was interesting to meet the staff who work with Rogers and see the excitement for the space that they all have and what it offers to families and Rogers as a whole.”
~Leann Meiners, orientation and onboarding training specialist

In related news, the Ladish Center recently won a Milwaukee Business Journal Real Estate Award in the category of “Best New Development – Health Care.”
“As architects, we dream of changing the world for the better with the spaces we create and it’s easy to do that when you are designing for organizations such as Rogers Behavioral Health and Ronald McDonald House Charities®,” said Nathan Pamperin, senior living studio director at Groth Design Group. “Many of us working on the project know someone who has needed to reach out to these organizations for help. We were very excited by the opportunity to be a part of the project and give back to the organizations.”
