Rogers therapist makes return appearance on Shark Tank
You may remember, back in late 2020, Oconomowoc therapist Angela Kupper and her husband pitched the Sleep Pod on at episode of Shark Tank—which led to them partnering with sharks Mark and Lori on a deal.
Just a few months later this March, they were invited back onto the show to provide a follow-up on their success story.
“We were honored to be asked back for a follow up so soon after our first appearance due to the overwhelming amount of interest in our product,” Angela says.
As part of Angela’s repeat appearance, the Shark Tank crew made a visit to Rogers’ Oconomowoc campus, where Kelly Piacsek, PhD, vice president, Research, and Matthias Schueth, executive vice president, Rogers Behavioral Health Foundation, were also shown accepting a donation of Sleep Pods. The pods will be considered for research, along with other sleep devices and sleep aides.
Hinsdale wishes team member good luck as they start Leader in Training program
The team in Hinsdale wished Jamie Galante, UR and intake specialist, their best on her last day at Hinsdale. Jamie was accepted into the Leader in Training program at Rogers, which she will begin in April.
“We are so proud to celebrate Jamie’s acceptance into the Leader in Training Program,” says Cynthia Cole, director of operations. “During her time in Hinsdale, Jamie helped the Intake and UR team develop standard work for routine processes, created new files and data organization systems, worked proactively to reduce the waitlist, and provided documentation training to staff so patients could get the maximum time in treatment. She is creative, dedicated to patient care, and an excellent team player. We cannot wait to see where this program takes her!”
