Get some extra cash by referring nurses to Rogers
12/19/17 02:55:pmMaking sure we have a fully staffed nursing team is important to Rogers’ commitment to providing patients with quality care. Vacancies can keep Rogers from having the necessary staff to accommodate patients. “We know that we had to turn away 789 patients last year based on the shortage of nursing staff. Employees are often are best source of referrals, and we are excited about the response we’ve had to this referral bonus offer,” shares Brian Kramer, vice president, human resources.
The nurse sign-on bonus program has been extended until January 5, 2018, or until Rogers fills its inpatient vacancies, whichever comes first. For fulltime hires, the bonus starts at $5,000 for day shift and goes up to $10,000 for night shift. The bonus is paid out 25% after three months, 25% at six months, and the remaining 50% after 12 months of employment. Part time positions are eligible for a prorated bonus amount.
So far, one nurse who was referred by an employee has been hired and around 20 total referrals have been provided, with multiple candidates going through the interview process now. Full details and guidelines for the referral program can be found on Rogers Connect.
