inspire award march 19 2.jpgComing out of college, no one is fully prepared for all the challenges that their first big job presents.

Amber Moeller, RN, who transitioned from student to full-time nurse in the busy Brown Deer Adult Inpatient Care PM shift was no different—but her determination and passion for behavioral health resulted in both a challenging and rewarding onboarding process.

The Daymaker recognition that led to Amber earning the Inspire award was originally sent by Marla Hoffman, RN, charge nurse for Brown Deer Adult Inpatient Care.

“Amber is amazing to work with. She is completely on top of things and one day will make an excellent charge nurse. Amber is right there doing belongings when we get admits, she puts in care plans for other peoples’ admissions and looks up their home meds. She is a TEAM PLAYER and we totally need more people like her on the unit. I can’t emphasize enough how much she impresses me. As a brand new RN she has come such a long way. She is excellent with her patients and with her peers. I love her attitude and her ability to deal with the hectic flow of the unit on a day by day basis. She doesn’t complain, and she doesn’t make excuses. She just gets it done! Thank you Amber for making every shift I work with you an absolute joy!!!”

Amber appreciate receiving the Inspire award. She shares, “For only graduating a little over a year ago and starting my first RN job at Rogers, I’m incredibly blessed, honored, and thankful to receive the inspire award.  I’m extremely grateful to have such an amazing job with patients and coworkers I love working with. I wouldn’t be as great of an employee if it wasn’t for the love and support from my coworkers. Thank you all!”

Pat Hammer, president and CEO, selects the Inspire award recipients by reviewing recognitions that our team members receive. Winners receive a certificate, Daymaker Inspire badge, and 5,000 Daymaker points.
