Brandon Lowe looks for the best talent to support Rogers’ Mission

10/24/24 12:30:pm

BrandonLowe_instory.JPGBrandon is passionate about recruiting and retaining the best teammates for Rogers.

“I really believe it’s one of the only true differentiators left for companies in our time,” Brandon explains. “Most organizations can have access to the same global technologies, structures, and operating philosophies, but ultimately it comes down to your people giving you a true competitive advantage.”

Joining Rogers in March, Brandon leads the Recruitment, Campus Relations, and Recruitment Marketing teams.

“I met amazing people throughout the interview process, and I was excited for the opportunity to lead several teams with passion and ingenuity,” he says. “It was important for me to first come in and learn from my teams about Rogers and why we do things a certain way. Then, once I have that knowledge, I can begin to offer ideas to streamline certain processes and partnerships. I’m committed to delivering strategies and solutions at Rogers so that we can provide the best possible care for our patients.”

Brandon says he’s excited to have the opportunity to help make a positive first impression of Rogers and considers that a critical part of fulfilling our Mission.

“By attracting and hiring the best talent efficiently across Rogers, it feels like we’re doing our part to support the necessary and important work that our clinicians do every day,” he says.

Brandon has been leading talent acquisition teams for the past 12 years. Before joining Rogers, Brandon served as Director of Talent Solutions for Korn Ferry, where he led the interim and permanent placement of executive talent. Prior to that, he had the pleasure of working with our own Tracy Reich-Smith, executive director of Human Resources Talent Experience, at Franklin Energy. As their Director of Recruiting and Talent Development, he oversaw the organization’s recruiting and training departments. Brandon also has several years of medical experience, selling surgical supplies to operating rooms all over Wisconsin for Cardinal Health.

Brandon says it’s always been of the utmost importance for him to work for an organization whose mission he feels he can get behind.

“I admire the life-changing treatment that our teams provide our communities,” he shares. “That shared purpose and vision that all Rogers’ employees have is what drives me to be my best every day.”

Getting to know Brandon

Brandon and his wife, Kate celebrated 22 years of marriage this past year and are newly empty nesters. Kate is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Brook-Falls Animal Hospital. They’re blessed to have three amazing children: Anna, a senior and premed student at UW-Madison; Evie, a sophomore at UW-Madison majoring in communications with a certificate in studio art; and Carter, a freshman at the University of Kansas who plans to major in kinesiology for pre-physical therapy. The Lowes also share their very full and happy home with Kate’s fantastic mother, two dogs, two cats, and a chinchilla!

A fun fact about Brandon is he loves to play any kind of game or sport. He grew up playing soccer, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and a million different board games. He says that learning to be a part of a successful team and having an internal competitive spirit has helped him many times throughout his professional career. Brandon wasted no time bringing that spirit to the Rogers summer volleyball league, where he has enjoyed getting to know more people. He’s also ready to share his favorite dad jokes. We knew you would ask, so here are a few:

Why do you never see elephants hiding in trees? Because they are so good at it!

Why was the cheese afraid to go to school? It didn’t want to be graded.
