Rogers teammates joined together with friends, families, and their local communities to raise awareness and help reduce stigma surrounding mental health challenges by participating in NAMIWalks.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, describes itself as the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. According to its website, “NAMI works to educate, support, advocate, listen and lead to improve the lives of people with mental illness and their loved ones.”

The NAMIWalks program is the largest mental health event series in the country. Taking place in more than 150 locations, NAMI invites supporters to share their stores, build community and walk together every year to achieve the goal of mental health for all.

Nathan Butzen, PsyD, director of outpatient services, Atlanta, shared on LinkedIn, “At Rogers-Atlanta, we were proud to be a supporting sponsor for the 2024 NAMIWalks GA. Grateful for our #RogersBehavioralHealth team who showed up to further the cause of promoting mental health awareness and eliminating stigma!”
