Staff makes treatment possible with generous Helping Hands
05/14/18 06:34:pm“Thank you! Those two small words are sent with the most heartfelt, sincere and overwhelming appreciation.”
Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation echoes these sentiments from a grateful mother who would not have been able to keep her son in treatment had it not been for the patient care grant she received.
This grant, like so many others, was made possible because of the kindness and generosity of each and every person who chose Rogers Foundation as the recipient of their charitable giving this year, including all staff who participated in the 2018 Helping Hands Campaign.
Financial support for this year’s campaign was 22% higher than last year, with participation increasing by 53%. Overall, 28% of the employees across all Rogers’ locations donated $37,500 in support of the Foundation’s mission. While the some staff members chose to designate their gifts to specific initiatives, such as patient care grants, Angel Fund, spiritual care, and stigma reduction, the majority of employees indicated that they would like their gift to be used wherever it was needed most.
A great number of staff participated in the Denim Day with their gift of $5 or more. Thank you to everyone for helping in ways that would not otherwise be possible.
All Rogers’ employees who participated in the campaign were entered to win prizes consisting of Brewers tickets, Amazon gift cards, or PTO. Congratulations to the following winners:
