To celebrate the Skokie clinic’s belated five-year anniversary, top referents from the Chicagoland area were invited to a recent event at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Since it was delayed last year due to COVID-19, the team recognized the occasion as its five (plus one)-year-anniversary.

“We enjoyed some delicious food and beautiful scenery while expressing our gratitude to our referents for all they have done to increase access to life-changing treatment for patients who need a higher level of care,” says Blair Famarin, regional outreach manager. “They’ve helped patients and our Skokie clinic overall to be successful. We also celebrated all of the current employees who have worked at our location for the six years we have been open.”

Brock Maxwell, regional executive director of the Central Service Area, and Paula Young, PhD, clinical director of Skokie and Hinsdale, discussed the clinic’s programs and all the people the team has helped. Additionally, a referent spoke on why she loves Rogers, and Anne Ballentine, vice president of Marketing and Communications, shared System updates.

“As one of the first Rogers clinics to open outside Wisconsin, Skokie is an integral part of our expanded reach to more communities. It was gratifying to hear from referral partners who love our treatment model and the impact we have on their clients,” Anne shares.

“It was a beautiful event, and everyone had a really great time,” Blair says.
