Seventh annual SOFA event in Oconomowoc draws a thousand attendees

A thousand people came out to Oconomowoc on May 15 for the 2021 SOFA event, which consisted of a suicide awareness 5k run/walk, Jump For Archie & Remembrance Vigil, and community concert.
The seventh annual event, sponsored by Rogers Behavioral Health, strives to stop the stigma around addiction, mental health, and suicide, while inspiring action and highlighting recovery and hope.
Hosted by SOFA – In your Name and SOFA Inc. – Saving Others For Archie, the event is in honor of Archie Andrew Badura, who lost his life to an overdose on May 15, 2014 at the age of 19.
