With the goal of promoting addiction recovery, John Boyd, PsyD, president and CEO, joined other Rogers team members at several stops on the Mobilize Recovery Across America bus tour. The 27-city tour kicked off Labor Day weekend, with its last stop in Spokane, Washington, earlier this month.

Rogers sponsored the tour and participated in events in Denver; Minneapolis; Marietta, Georgia; Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Atlanta; and Naperville, Illinois. Please see photo slideshow above.

Throughout the tour, Rogers collaborated with former NBA player Chris Herren, Young People in Recovery, Aetna, Shatterproof, Serve You Rx, as well as DUI, mental health, veterans, and drug courts, according to Tom Starling, executive director, community strategic partnerships, who attended events in Denver, Marietta, and Atlanta.

“Rogers raised awareness through our Mobilize Recovery partnership and through exhibits, presentations, and roundtable discussions,” Tom says. “We were able to inspire solutions for recovery with local and national partners.”

Meanwhile, Rogers employees honored National Recovery Month at their locations by holding dress-up days, hosting patient alumni visits, and helping patients write letters to future patients. Please see photos from Appleton, Silver Lake, and Herrington Center for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery in the above slideshow in addition to photos from the 2nd Annual Recovery Celebration Picnic that took place in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
