Rogers wins Professionals Choice award in iaedp mannequin contest

This year’s submission from Rogers was titled “Brick by Brick” and was coordinated by Lacie Timm, art therapist for the FOCUS adult residential program. "Brick by Brick" is the first entry by Rogers to win the Professionals Choice award, which is voted on by the community online and at the iaedp annual symposium. Lacie says that she feels honored to have her entry selected.
"I felt affirmed to learn that the vision and intention of the sculpture was respected and valued enough to receive an award voted on by a sea of other mental health professionals along with the general public," she says.
Rogers has received awards for its entries into the Imagine Me Beyond what you See contest for a few years running, with last year’s “Back to Basics”—a living sculpture of herbs, moss, and other materials—winning first place.
