Rogers Research Center publishes 2021 annual report
07/21/22 12:14:pmRogers Research Center recently published its 2021 annual report detailing its studies, publications, and new laboratories.
“As we set out to establish Rogers Research Center in early 2020, we could never have anticipated the extraordinary changes that awaited our communities and the world over the past two years,” says Kelly Piacsek, PhD, vice president, Research. “The need for research and innovation to advance the science of evidence-based mental healthcare has never been greater.”
Some key accomplishments the annual report outlines include:
- Opening 33 new studies in 2021, for a total of 62 open studies at
year’s end - Publishing 36 publications, with five in press
- Moving into its new location in the Ladish Co. Foundation Center on
the Oconomowoc campus - Focusing on youth mental health, community, and telehealth
- Preparing for the biobank that launched this month, as well as the
new neuroscience lab
“As the team continues to grow and we work to solidify long-term partnerships, we are building a research organization that can become the premier behavioral health research center in the world,” says Brad Riemann, PhD, chief clinical officer and chief operating officer. “We are incredibly proud of the outcomes the research team has delivered this year and look forward to many years of growth and critical deliverables to the field of behavioral health.”
