Rogers participates in National Night Out events
09/20/21 02:05:pmRogers representatives from Brown Deer, Sheboygan, and West Allis celebrated National Night Out last month.
Held the first Tuesday of August, the annual community-building event promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It also consists of fun, family-friendly activities.
“It’s important that we establish healthy relationships with our trusted community partners as we aim to support a healthy community,” says Derrick Jordan, vice president of operations, Brown Deer, who attended the North Shore National Night Out. “I am thrilled to be part of an organization that takes pride in participating in community events, such as National Night Out, where we can provide education, awareness, and how we at Rogers serve as change agents in collaboration with stakeholders.”

- Sarah Siker, clinical services manager; Jessica Pitre, director of operations; Derrick; and Kim Peterson, community outreach representative, from Brown Deer attended the North Shore National Night Out in Brown Deer Village Park.
- Milwaukee Fire Department Captain David Polachowski; Carla FuentesBuendia, a local addiction counselor; Kiera Arnson, community outreach representative, West Allis; and Amy Molinski, peer support specialist, West Allis Community Medical Services, participated in the Milwaukee event held at Kosciuszko Park.
- Kiera also represented Rogers at the South Milwaukee/St. Francis event at the South Milwaukee Police Department.
- Ashley Podzius, community outreach representative; Jill Dawson, therapist; and Holly Clappes, clinic assistant, from Sheboygan celebrated National Night Out at the city’s Roosevelt Park.
- Kallyn Heiges, child and adolescent inpatient therapist, Brown Deer, joined Derrick and Kim at the North Shore National Night Out.
- Derrick met with Village of Brown Deer President Wanda Montgomery and Brown Deer Community Outreach Police Officer Fernando Santiago.
- Rogers’ tables at the National Night Outs included giveaways and resources.
