Rogers Behavioral Health has doubled its contributions to the Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation Charitable Giving Fund.

The Rogers Board of Directors approved a contribution of $10 million to the Charitable Giving Fund, up from a gift of $5 million last year. The Charitable Giving Fund provides financial assistance in the form of Patient Care Grants to those with limited resources who are seeking treatment at Rogers.

Pat Hammer, president and CEO, says, “Because of Rogers’ high level of performance, we are able to use our success to help additional people. We’ve made a commitment to invest a portion of our operating income in care for those who would not otherwise be able to access treatment. We hope to grow the fund in the coming years.”

According to Arnie Stueber, chief financial officer, the Charitable Giving Fund has grown to $35.8 million since its inception.
