Rogers delivers virtual presentation at Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health event
12/18/20 11:16:amBrad Riemann, PhD, chief clinical officer; Brian Kay, vice president, Continuous Improvement; and Jessica Cook, director of Clinical Effectiveness, presented at this year’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Research Summit in early December.
Jessica says that their presentation, titled Implementing measurement-based care in a large multistate behavioral health system, “went really well.” Though she missed having the ability to receive feedback and interact with other participants in person.
“I found it really exciting to share some of the special and innovative ways that Rogers is utilizing data to drive our treatment and protocol development,” she says. “This year has challenged us in several different ways and a lot of organizations, us included, have had to really take a step back and evaluate the foundations of how we deliver care.”
She also notes the importance of giving a presentation like this, as many organizations are still working on developing a successful telehealth or safe in-person treatment model.
“Rogers was able to quick adopt both approaches and even continue some of the more advanced ways we are utilizing data to drive treatment,” Jessica says. “This speaks to how amazing our patient care staff and the Rogers Operating System are. Rogers really is a special organization and being able to speak to that at MACMH’s research summit was a privilege.”
