We’re happy to announce Rogers new clinic in Manitowoc is officially open.

Providing needed Mental Health and Addiction Recovery PHP/IOP services, the clinic officially opened September 24. It is located downtown within Lighthouse Recovery Community Center’s building at 818 State St.

“With the opening of our Manitowoc clinic, we are proud to continue our mission, providing highly effective mental health and addiction treatment to help people as they cope with the many challenges of day-to-day life.” says Cindy Meyer, president and CEO. “We are listening to community needs and responding, making our critical, proven care more accessible. We are grateful to Lighthouse Recovery Community Center for making space available to bring our life-saving services to the Manitowoc community.”

Rogers’ Manitowoc clinic will help overcome barriers people may face when seeking care, including a lack of options within a drivable distance and long waitlists for treatment.

"Rogers is committed to improving access to mental health and addiction care. We know our Mental Health and Addiction Recovery services help patients get better and can be life-saving, especially in areas such as Manitowoc County, where we’ve found overdose rates are higher than many surrounding counties,” says Michelle Maloney, PhD, LPC, CAADC, CRPS, executive clinical director of Rogers’ Mental Health and Addiction Recovery. "We are excited to now be a part of the Manitowoc community, bringing our proven treatment where it’s needed to help more people live more fulfilling lives."

Days before the clinic opening, Rogers team members say they were thrilled to support a key community partner of our Sheboygan and Manitowoc locations, Lighthouse Recovery Community Center, in highlighting the crucial work of mental health and substance use treatment at Lighthouse’s Dose of Hope event.

The event underscored the continued need for addiction services in the Lakeshore communities and was a chance for Rogers’ team members to connect with community partners.  Rogers’ retiree Dione Knopp was awarded an Individual Ally Award, and Rogers was nominated for a Mental Health/Health Care Ally Award.

“We look forward to a continued relationship with Lighthouse and its staff as we operate the newly opened Manitowoc clinic!” Dr. Maloney says.

Rogers’ Wausau clinic is getting closer to opening to the public.

We are hiring staff for the new location and construction photos show the progress being made.

“We’ve recently reached several exciting milestones with our Wausau clinic,” says Loren Tanner, director of Operational Development. “Construction is moving forward at a rapid pace. As framing and drywall work is completed, what were just lines on a set of plans are now becoming rooms where patients will soon receive treatment. With the beginning of staff orientation, we’ve seen the Wausau team begin to take shape. We also continue to hear from individuals who are excited by the needed services that Rogers will bring to their community, and we can’t wait to begin operations.”

The clinic’s treatment offerings will include Primary Behavioral Health PHP and IOP for adults and adolescents, Mental Health and Addiction Recovery for adults, and Outpatient Psychiatric Services for evaluation and medication management.
