Join in on the upcoming Milwaukee Out of the Darkness Walk to help raise funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and reduce stigma within our community.

This year’s walk will be held on Sunday, October 13 at Veterans Park in Milwaukee. Check-in and registration start at 9 am and a short program before the walk is scheduled for 10:30 am. The walk will begin at 11 am.

The route will lead walkers down Milwaukee’s lakefront and Lincoln Memorial Drive. Friendly and leashed dogs are welcome to join in on the 5K walk and they can even get an American Foundation for Suicide Prevention bandana with a $10 donation, which can be picked up at the Paws for Prevention tent.

Those interested in walking with the Rogers team or with questions can reach out to team captain Tama’ra Reed or learn more by visiting the event page.

In addition to Milwaukee walk, there are also Nami Walks and other Out of the Darkness Walks scheduled near Rogers clinics in Madison, Appleton, Chicago, Miami, and San Diego in October and early November. A full schedule can be found on Rogers Connect.
