Janet Gatlin and Michael Beyer support Outreach team’s efforts to connect people to Rogers’ care
05/16/23 01:00:pmMembers of the Outreach team work within their respective communities to build relationships with referring providers, represent Rogers at community events, raise awareness about our services, and connect individuals and families to resources and treatment options.
Meet Janet Gatlin
As director of Outreach for Rogers’ Central and Northern Service Areas, Janet Gatlin enjoys working with her team and helping them succeed.
“I spend time with the Outreach representatives and share tools and tactics that will help them thrive, which in turn helps the organization reach its goals,” Janet says.
Janet has been passionate about Rogers’ Mission since beginning her career in 1997 as an experiential therapist in Oconomowoc. After that, she worked in pharmaceutical sales and then returned to Rogers in 2011 as an Outreach representative before promotions to manager and director.
Over her years at Rogers, Janet has led or co-led the outreach efforts for the openings of eight major expansions, including the launch of the Brown Deer inpatient hospital and numerous residential program openings. She was also an integral part of the development and implementation of the emergency room transfer process and held key roles during rapid improvement events and value stream improvements focused on intake, transitions, PCP referrals, and clinical and school collaborations.
“Rogers is a unique organization because we have so many service lines,” she says. “I love working here because I’m passionate about educating referral sources and helping patients and their families access our amazing care.”
Meet Michael Beyer
Michael Beyer works in collaboration with Janet as Outreach director for Rogers’ Western and Eastern Service Areas.
Michael joined Rogers as an Outreach representative in West Allis in early 2022, having worked in marketing and business development for over a decade.
In his time at Rogers, Michael has been an integral part of expanding our connections within West Allis and the greater Milwaukee area through cultivating and strengthening referent relationships, increasing engagement with local governments, and enhancing our reputation throughout the community.
“As a result of my own lived experience, my life’s mission changed rather drastically from financial success to utilizing the skills I’ve been blessed with to connect people with the type of care that saved my life,” Michael says. “Rogers shares that mission. This Outreach team, and the organization as a whole, are hands-down the most supportive and talented groups I’ve ever been part of.”
Prior to joining Rogers, Michael worked at The Dewey Center in Wauwatosa in outreach, operations, and its foundation. He says he’s found a home here at Rogers.
“I love the people I get to interact with internally every day,” he says. “They amaze and energize me. It’s also rewarding to connect with patients and their families or caregivers.”
