Groundbreaking Charitable Giving Fund is created
09/13/17 01:59:pmIn order to empower Rogers to provide assistance to those who have limited financial resources and are in need of mental health and/or addiction treatment services, a new resource is available to individuals and families.
“Due to our clinical and financial success at Rogers, the Charitable Giving Fund was created with the purpose of helping more people gain access to life changing behavioral health services,” said Pat Hammer, System President and CEO.
The System Board of Directors approved an unrestricted contribution to Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation of $500,000, a restricted contribution of $587,000 from the Charitable Giving Fund to Rogers Memorial Hospital, and the transfer of $5,000,000 from hospital cash assets to the Charitable Giving Fund.
