The eighth annual Jump for Archie took place on June 18 in Oconomowoc, where community members gathered to raise awareness of the opioid crisis and mental health stigma.

Sponsored by Rogers, the event consisted of a 5k suicide prevention run/walk, a series of public group jumps into Fowler Lake, a vigil, resource tables, and a community concert.

Hosted by Saving Others for Archie (SOFA) Inc., Jump for Archie is in honor of Archie Andrew Badura, who lost his life to an overdose on May 15, 2014 at the age of 19. The mission of SOFA is to serve grassroots efforts in the furtherance of substance use prevention through raising awareness of the relationship between addiction and mental health issues.
