Chicago’s Director of Operations committed to excellence since day one
05/02/17 08:58:amSince Rogers Behavioral Health–Chicago first opened in July 2015, Brock Maxwell, director of operations, has been responsible for overseeing the day-to-day happenings at our outpatient clinic, actually located in Skokie. According to Brock, being part of the clinic from its infancy has been a rewarding experience.
“It’s been a pleasure to see this clinic develop from the ground up and to see our team develop into a thriving, successful staff, bringing high-quality mental healthcare to patients and families in our community,” he says. “Our team members here in Chicago are top-notch, wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with, day-in and day-out.”
Before coming on board with Rogers, Brock worked for a psychiatric health system in Massachusetts, but it was Rogers’ solid reputation in the mental healthcare world that drew him in. “I was well aware of Rogers’ reputation for excellence and its desire to grow and reach more people with evidence-based treatment programs,” he says. “What’s kept me at Rogers is our commitment to quality, growth, and accessibility. Nationwide, no one else has such a strong commitment to providing immediate access to care like Rogers.”
According to Brock, the regional locations in Chicago, Nashville, Minneapolis, Tampa, and now Philadelphia take a lot of pride in bearing the Rogers name and reputation in new areas of the country. “Oftentimes, evidence-based treatment can be hard to come by prior to the arrival of Rogers in the communities we’ve expanded to,” he says. “Leadership at each regional site remains in close, consistent communication and with each other and with administration to help ensure quality and consistency system-wide.”
According to Blair McAnany, national outreach representative, the Chicago team is lucky to have him. “I love that he has an open door policy,” she says. “Any time you need him, he is available and will listen to your concerns or celebrate your achievements. I also really love how he motivates staff on a daily basis. We are all so happy to have Brock leading our team!”
What you might not already know about him…
Don’t be shocked, but his first name is actually Clinton! Brock is his middle name and the name he has always gone by. Other fun facts about Brock are that he played percussion in the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra as a high-schooler and has a very impressive headstand.
He also has three sons: Judah (7), Emmet (5) and Simon (3). With the boys’ baseball and basketball games, swimming lessons and other activities, he and his wife stay pretty busy. Outside of parenting, Brock enjoys seeing a good movie; sipping a great cup of coffee or tea; or binge-watching shows like House of Cards, Homeland or Sherlock on PBS.
