Andrea Uribe, DO, is double board-certified in both general adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She provides care in the Rogers' Hinsdale outpatient center.
Dr. Uribe received her Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Chicago, where she majored in psychology and minored in chemistry. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Following this, Dr. Uribe was an intern and resident in general psychiatry at Allegheny General Hospital, Drexel University. She then completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, then known as Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University.
She has worked as a psychiatrist in DuPage County since 2007, treating children, teens, and adults suffering from anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, and ADHD. Dr. Uribe has experience working in private practice and community health settings, and she has provided teaching to primary care providers to foster their knowledge of treating psychiatric conditions in outpatient practice.
Dr. Uribe is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is married with two sons and is committed to helping families succeed.
