Allison Barton, MSN, APNP, PMHNP-BC, is a licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Rogers Behavioral Health in Oconomowoc. Barton received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockford University and master’s degree in Nursing in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Alverno College.
Prior to coming to Rogers, Barton worked as a registered nurse at Journey Mental Health PROPS and the Psychiatric unit of St. Mary’s Hospital, in Madison, WI. Barton has a strong passion for abolishing negative stigma associated with mental health disorders and decriminalizing mental illness. She worked as the SSM team lead on the Zero Suicide Mission in Dane County, Wisconsin.
She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
