Rogers–Tampa offers a variety of quality outpatient programs, giving you convenient, local access to one of the most experienced and nationally respected behavioral health providers in the U.S. We offer treatment for adults, adolescents, and children with eating disorders, OCD and anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, and dual mental health disorders and co-occurring addiction. Additionally, we offer a unique program focused on treating OCD, anxiety, and mood disorders in kids with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Both outpatient treatment levels allow patients to receive our services for part of the day and return to home, school, or work after programming:

  • Intensive outpatient programs, 3 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Partial hospitalization programs, 6 hours per day, 5 days per week

Depression and mood

Depression and mood disorder outpatient services

Serving adults, adolescents, and children, our depression and mood disorder treatment is heavily based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), where patients learn how to use behavioral activation (BA) to manage disorder symptoms. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills help improve mindfulness, distress tolerance, regulation of emotions, and interpersonal effectiveness.

If appropriate, you will work with a therapist on exposures to address avoidance behaviors related to anxiety. You'll move forward through the use of CBT, DBT, individual assignments, group therapy, and one-on-one meetings with your therapist.

OCD and anxiety

OCD and anxiety outpatient program

Life can be intensely uncomfortable for anyone living with the paralyzing, unending OCD, and anxiety-related disorders. During treatment, adults, adolescents, and children learn strategies to reduce the symptoms of OCD such as rituals, avoidance, or overwhelming fears.

Our evidence-based therapies for OCD combine cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)exposure and response prevention (ERP)medication management; individual, group and family therapy; and experiential therapy.

Eating disorder

Eating disorder outpatient program

Serving adults, adolescents, and children with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other eating disorders, our program offers you supervised meals, nutritional education, and medical monitoring. While in treatment, you’ll have an individualized care plan and a treatment approach structured around evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on graduated exposure and response prevention (ERP).

Anxiety and mood in ASD

Anxiety and mood disorders in Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) outpatient program

Kids with ASD often also deal with OCD, anxiety, or mood disorders that co-occur with their autism. Due to the social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties that can result from this combination of disorders, parents can often feel overwhelmed. It can be difficult to know where to go for help. We understand that.

Through this program we offer an intensive  cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) foundation of care plus related therapies, including exposure therapybehavioral activation, and elements of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), that are supported by family and social skills coaching, experiential therapy, psychiatric assessment, and medication management.

Dual diagnosis

Dual diagnosis outpatient program

Rogers provides leading, specialized treatment for those suffering from mental health issues and substance abuse at the same time. When it comes to effectively treating this dual diagnosis, it’s critical to identify and treat mental health issues such as OCD and anxiety, or depression and mood disorders, along with the addiction.

Led by a multidisciplinary team, our outpatient dual diagnosis treatment programs use an evidence-based approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), twelve step facilitation (TSF) therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).
