Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization in Tampa
Rogers in Tampa offers outpatient care, giving children, adolescents, and adults in the community access to one of the most experienced and nationally respected behavioral health providers in the U.S. We offer treatment for eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, and mental health and co-occurring addiction disorders.
Both outpatient treatment levels allow patients to receive our services for part of the day and return to home, school, or work:
- Intensive outpatient care, 3 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Partial hospitalization care, 6 to 6.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Depression and other mood disorders
Serving adolescents and adults, our depression and mood disorders treatment is heavily based in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), where patients learn how to use behavioral activation (BA) to manage disorder symptoms. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills help improve mindfulness, distress tolerance, regulation of emotions, and interpersonal effectiveness.
If appropriate, patients work with a therapist on exposures to address avoidance behaviors related to anxiety. Additionally, patients work through individual assignments, group therapy, and one-on-one meetings with a therapist.
OCD and anxiety
Life can be intensely uncomfortable for anyone living with the paralyzing, unending OCD, and anxiety-related disorders. During treatment, children, adolescents, and adults learn strategies to reduce the symptoms of OCD such as rituals, avoidance, or overwhelming fears.
Our evidence-based therapies for OCD combine cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); exposure and response prevention (ERP); medication management; individual, group and family therapy; and experiential therapy.
Eating disorders
Serving children, adolescents, and adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, binge eating disorder, and other eating disorders, our treatment offers supervised meals, nutritional education, and medical monitoring. Patients have an individualized care plan and a treatment approach structured around evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on graduated exposure and response prevention (ERP).
Mental health and addiction
Rogers provides leading, specialized treatment for those suffering from mental health issues and substance use at the same time. It’s critical to identify and treat mental health issues such as OCD and anxiety, or depression and other mood disorders, along with the addiction.
Led by a multidisciplinary team, our outpatient care uses an evidence-based approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), twelve step facilitation (TSF) therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).
Trauma (posttraumatic stress disorder)
The effects of trauma and untreated PTSD cause those affected to relive events, avoid them entirely, or experience heightened emotions.
At Rogers we provide care for those struggling with trauma and PTSD through evidence-based treatment that research shows is the most effective for reducing symptoms. Therapy you may engage in as part of your treatment plan include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), prolonged exposure therapy for PTSD (PE), behavioral activation (BA), experiential therapy, and family involvement.
