Intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization in Appleton

Rogers Behavioral Health offers outpatient care in Appleton, giving you convenient, local access to one of the most experienced and nationally respected behavioral health providers in the United States. Our Appleton location offers treatment for OCD and anxiety (children, adolescents, and adults); mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders (adolescents and adults);  eating disorders, depression or other mood disorders and trauma (posttraumatic stress disorder) (adults only).

Rogers Connect Care, our telehealth option for select PHP and IOP programming, is currently available to residents living in Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Virtual support group available for adults living with OCD and anxiety
Rogers offers free, virtual support groups for individuals aged 18 and up living with OCD and anxiety. Participants connect with each other to sharpen the skills required to live with uncertainty, remain focused on goals, and share achievements. The group meets the first and third Monday of every month, 5:30 to 7 pm. For more information email madison-supportgroups@rogersbh.org

Virtual trauma educational support group 
Rogers offers a free, virtual support group for adults recovering from trauma. This group is open to the public. Each session is led by a Rogers therapist, and we strongly encourage participants to have an outpatient therapist. The purpose of this group is support and not intended to replace the need for therapy. The group meets virtually on the first Tuesday of every month, 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Trauma (posttraumatic stress disorder) outpatient care

You or someone you love may have experienced or witnessed a life-threatening or traumatic event, such as a sexual assault or threats, physical assault or threats, natural disasters, car accidents or other serious accidents, terrorist attacks, military combat or life-threatening illness or injury.

Your treatment plan is specifically designed for your needs. It is based on a proven method called cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emphasizing prolonged exposure, which helps reduce anxiety related to the traumatic event. You may participate in group therapy, acceptance, self-compassion and mindfulness strategies, experiential therapy, patient and family education, individual therapy and medication management.

Rogers is recognized nationally for treatment of OCD and related anxiety disorders. We can help you address compulsive behaviors, such as rituals, avoidance, or overwhelming fears with our program in Appleton.

We focus on evidence-based therapies for OCD, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); exposure and response prevention (ERP); medication management ; individual, group and family therapy; and experiential therapy. Our primary goal is to help you learn strategies to reduce your symptoms and support you for the rest of your life.

If you or someone you know needs help making adjustments in disordered eating behaviors and thinking patterns, our specialized outpatient program may be able to help.

Serving patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, ARFID, binge eating disorder and other eating disorders, Appleton’s program offers you supervised meals, nutritional education and medical monitoring. While in treatment, you’ll have an individualized care plan and a treatment approach based on evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on graduated exposure and response prevention (ERP).

If you’re finding that traditional outpatient counseling isn’t enough in managing your depression or another mood disorder, we can help. Our experienced team of professionals, led by a board-certified adult psychiatrist and a highly trained psychologist, will help you reduce symptoms and gain the tools you need to succeed.

Components of evidence-based therapy include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); behavioral activation (BA); dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT); medication management; individual, group and family therapy; and experiential therapy. Our goal is to provide you with an individualized treatment plan that gives you the tools to gain insight into your behaviors and feelings, letting you set realistic goals and develop new skills for success.

Rogers provides leading, specialized treatment for mental health and co-occurring addiction disorders. When it comes to effectively treating addiction, it’s critical to also identify and treat mental health issues such as OCD and anxiety, or depression and mood disorders at the same time.

Led by board-certified psychiatrists, our outpatient care uses an evidence-based approach, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), twelve step facilitation (TSF) therapy, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).

Through our Mental Health Recovery Care at Rogers, patients receive the treatment they need to reduce challenging symptoms and improve daily functioning. A safe, structured outpatient setting allows patients to remain connected with family and other social support systems.

Patients participate in a specialized approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), experiential therapy (ET), nutritional health and wellness education, medication management, and medical monitoring. The Rogers team closely monitors each patient’s progress to ensure the effectiveness of treatment.
