Orientation for non-medical staff

New employee orientation

There are three types of orientation for all new hires to Rogers. Which orientation or components of orientations you attend will depend greatly on your line of service or job category. The orientations listed below are for all newly employees. This includes residents, interns, or others in paid positions. The orientation process includes:

  • New Employee Orientation
    • All new hires attend
    • .5 days held on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month
  • Patient Care Orientation
    • Required for all clinical positions*
    • 4.5 days immediately following New Employee Orientation
  • Residential Staff Orientation
    • Required for all residential staff**
    • 4 days immediately following Patient Care Orientation

*Some non-clinical positions with clinical exposure (e.g., intake specialists) may be asked to attend patient care orientation as well

**Residential staff orientation training requirements may vary by position
