Psychologists, master-level social workers, professional counselors, and other healthcare professionals who currently work with children and adolescents who have OCD or related disorders. Appropriate for intermediate level practitioners.
Pediatric onset of OCD is common and can negatively affect school performance, social interactions and family relationships. This full-day seminar will help you develop a comprehensive cognitive approach to more effectively treat OCD and related disorders in children and adolescents. You will explore successful evidence-based interventions and leave with strategies to develop meaningful interventions that are the foundation of effective treatment for pediatric OCD and will successfully engage your young clients.

All participants who complete and submit a participation evaluation and request for continuing education credit forms upon departure will receive a certificate in the US mail within two weeks. Psychologists and social workers must attend entire event to receive CE credit.
Social Workers: Rogers Memorial Hospital | Rogers Behavioral Health, provider number 1101, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory board have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Rogers Memorial Hospital | Rogers Behavioral Health maintains responsibility for this course. Approval period: October 19, 2017 – October 19, 2020. Social workers completing this course receive 5.0 clinical continuing education credits.

Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.
