Rogers Behavioral Health Welcomes New VP of Human Capital

(Oconomowoc, Wisc.) Brian Kramer has joined Rogers Behavioral Health as the vice president of human capital. In this role, Kramer will lead the full national scope and staff within the human resources function including talent acquisition services, employee health, staff development, clinical education, infection control and the Center for Organizational Advancement.

“Brian brings more than 25 years of experience in diverse areas of human resources, such as talent acquisition and performance management,” says Pat Hammer, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Rogers Behavioral Health. “These aspects of human resources, among others Brian is well-versed in, are among those now having a stronger emphasis across our system.”

“What drew me to Rogers was first and foremost the mission of service and focus on patient care,” says Kramer. “The partnership between Rogers’ administrative team and human resources department to make continuous improvements throughout the organization made Rogers the right fit.”

A graduate of University of Wisconsin–Stout, in Menomonie, Wisc., Kramer holds a degree in technology education, and he completed master’s coursework in industrial and labor relations from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He’s provided human capital leadership in various industries, including healthcare, engineering, marketing, financial services and life sciences.

Most recently, Kramer served as a human resources consultant for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina. He also holds professional memberships with Executive Agenda and the Society for Human Resources Management.
